I have been an amateur photographer for a little over 2 years now. I prefer doing nature photography, though I occasionally will shoot urbex or portraits for fun. I find that I am most inspired when walking by the lake, ocean, in the forest or in fields.

I play with HDR in Photomatix now and then, though my passion is shooting pure and clean (as little processing as possible). In the beginning, I tried to play with every trick in the book. But I find the best shots only need a mild sharpening and a light curve adjustment (The D80 was a limited camera!)

Currently, I am shooting with a Nikon D700.
